All La Crosse PMI events are open to nonmembers as well as members. For all who attend, registration is always requested in advance of the event. Registration information is always included with the event announcement, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

La Crosse's Mayor Harter proclaims Project Management Day - Monday, August 23, 2010

Mayor Harter has written an official proclamation declaring November 4, 2010 as International Project Management Day. He calls upon the residents to recognize the valuable contributions of Project Managers in the City of La Crosse and around the Coulee Region.

Our Chapter Won ASPE's Grand Prize for the PMI Chapter Challenge! - Monday, August 23, 2010

Our board is thrilled to announce the La Crosse PMI Chapter just won $5K in ASPE's PMI Chapter Challenge. This prize came from generating the most votes in regards to the question "Who is the best PMI chapter?". Information about our chapter and our best practices will also be featured in the ASPE's blog site.

The Top Five PMI Chapters are as follows:

1 La Crosse, Wisconsin

2 Westchester, New York

3 Fort Worth, Texas

4 Phoenix, Arizona

5 Puget Sound, Washington

We were just notified on Aug. 23rd and the board will be meeting later to discuss how to put the funds to the best use for the chapter.

Dr. Ellis is Professor and Program Director of Saint Mary’s University of MN, Twin Cities Campus, and he will be speaking on questions to ask during the project to enhance project success.
