Bill Oakes is an award-winning career project manager with 22-years of continuous experience leading projects and building project management offices. He has managed custom software development and system implementation projects for the US Air Force, Internal Revenue Service, Government of Guam, Colorado Division of Wildlife, US Department of Interior, Federated States of Micronesia, and one of the four largest banks in the world. He has worked for Oracle Corp, Sybase Inc., the IRS, his own consulting business, Genesis 10, and currently with Beacon Technologies (Madison).
He is a project management instructor for the Graduate School, the largest post-undergraduate training institution in the world. He has been a PMP since 2008. He lives in Warrens, Wisconsin.
